Parents and primary caregivers in Kenya carry one of the highest daily workloads of any group, coordinating schedules, managing household systems, tracking finances, communicating with schools, healthcare providers, and service people, all without a salary. Those are operator skills. The IMPACT Training Program exists to formalize, certify, and monetize them.

This credit is an internal tuition fee adjustment only. It holds zero cash value and cannot be redeemed as a stipend, hardware allowance, internet credit, or cash disbursement of any kind. Credit is applied after acceptance and eligibility verification.

You qualify for the Parent or Primary Caregiver D&I Credit if you are the primary caregiver for one or more dependants. This includes children of any age, elderly parents, or other dependant family members in your care.

The virtual assistant career is one of the most caregiver-compatible professional paths available in Kenya today. You work from home, you set your hours in agreement with your clients, and you build your workload around the rhythms of your household rather than the other way around.
The IMPACT Training Program does not ask you to choose between your responsibilities and your career. We ask you to show up for the program's milestones, complete your practical assignments, and pass your assessments. How you structure the hours between those markers is entirely yours.
Our cohort of parents and caregivers consistently performs at or above average in program completion rates. The reason is straightforward: people who are already managing complex household systems are already operators. The certification formalizes what they already know how to do.

You do not need to have been accepted into the program to submit this form. Your credit will be applied once you are accepted and your eligibility is confirmed.

This credit can be stacked with other qualifying D&I categories up to a total of Ksh 5,000. If you qualify for more than one category, your credits are combined up to the cap. Visit the D&I Credits hub to see all seven categories.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many hours per week does the program require?
A: A minimum of 10 hours per week is required to complete the program within the cohort timeline. Most caregivers find they can complete 2 to 3 hours of focused work per day during nap times, school hours, or evenings.
Q: Is there live attendance required?
A: The program is designed with asynchronous learning in mind. Live sessions are not mandatory, but we strongly recommend attending all of them. Students who attend and participate in live sessions receive extra credit. All sessions are recorded and available on demand within your cohort window if you cannot attend live.
Q: What if my child gets sick or I have a family emergency during the cohort?
A: Life happens. If you experience a significant disruption during your cohort, contact your Enrollment Advisor as soon as possible. We will work with you on a plan to complete your milestones. We cannot extend cohort deadlines indefinitely, but we do not leave caregivers behind without a conversation.
Q: I am a single parent. Is the program affordable on one income?
A: The D&I Credit reduces your fees by KSh 1,500. If you are also a single-income household, that credit stacks for an additional Ksh 1,500, bringing your total reduction to Ksh 3,000. Payment plan options are also available to split your registration across two installments.
Q: Do I need a laptop or can I use a phone?
A: A laptop or desktop computer is required for the practical assignments in the program, particularly the CRM and systems modules. A smartphone is sufficient for reading content, but not for completing all assignments.
Q: Does the program have video or camera requirements?
A: Some assignments include video responses to help you build confidence communicating on camera. These are completed on your own schedule, not in front of a live audience. You do not need a dedicated workspace or professional setup to complete them.
Q: My dependant is an elderly parent, not a child. Do I still qualify?
A: Yes. The Parent or Primary Caregiver D&I Credit applies to anyone who is the primary caregiver for any dependant, including elderly parents or other adult family members requiring full-time care.
